Dismemberment: Accidental
Death and Dismemberment (AD&D)
insurance provides around-the-clock coverage

from accidents on or off the job. Basic AD&D
coverage is generally employer-paid, and typically
provides an accidental death benefit equal
to an employee's
basic term life insurance amount. Basic AD&D also provides specified
percentages of an employee's accidental death benefit amount for qualifying
